The Novel
Sherry Martinelli is currently developing a novel set among the hills, vineyards, and historic landscapes of Paso Robles, California. The story will explore memory, love, loss, spiritual connection, and the ways the past continues to shape the present. Additional details will be shared as the project develops.
Steven D. Bennett will remain a critical creative presence in this novel and in Sherry’s future nonfiction work. Steve left behind notes, ideas, and written fragments that continue to inform both projects. Sherry understands their work as an ongoing act of co-creation: Steve contributing from spirit and Sherry, earthbound, giving their shared vision its written form.
Future Nonfiction Work
A future nonfiction work will continue and expand upon many of the questions introduced in A Song for Steve: The Lion and the Rose. Drawing upon psychology, philosophy, grief research, spiritual traditions, and Steve’s notes, it will explore soul merging, shared free will, prophetic dreams, continuing bonds, and the evolving relationship between those who remain in physical life and those who have passed beyond it.

Lisa Arrington, creator of Ethereal Soul and author of Rebirth: The Spiritual Evolution That Reunited Two Souls, is acknowledged in A Song For Steve: The Lion and the Rose as an inspiration to Sherry’s work, and her insights are also cited within the book. Lisa offers another deeply personal perspective on twin flame loss, continuing connection, spiritual awakening, and the ways love may endure beyond physical death.
Her essay, “Death of a Twin Flame and Continuing the Journey,” shares her experience following the passing of her twin flame and the signs, synchronicities, and spiritual insights that shaped her path forward.

If you have a story or perspective that may resonate with this community, please use the form to introduce yourself and briefly describe your proposed essay. Writers are encouraged to approach the subject from their own experiences, beliefs, research, or reflections. The only requirement is a meaningful connection to twin flame separation through death. A complete manuscript is not needed at this stage, and submitting a proposal does not guarantee publication.
